Here we have a 47" Samsung LED TV installed on the wall. Digital Edge supplied the custom ultra flat mount which keeps the LED TV nice and close to the wall. This is a great look since the LED TV's are so thin it gives the illusion of a picture hanging on the wall.
A small spacer was used on the mount at the top of the TV to give it a very slight tilt and also to accommodate the electrical plug that was installed towards the top of the TV.
Having all the cables hidden in the wall gives the TV installation a great look. Most companies will use some tacky looking plastic molding to hide the wires. Best buy's geek squad for example can put the HDMI cables in the wall however will not install an electrical outlet behind the TV so they use track molding to conceal the the power cable. Here at Digital Edge we do not use track molding on our installs. In fact we don't even stock track molding. All cables are hidden in the wall, anything less is unacceptable.
The TV installed on the wall here in Columbia Maryland is connected to an XBox 360, PS3, wii, and a Comcast DVR cable box. HDMI was used to connect everything but the wii.
