Here we have 2 TV's installed at a home in Bel Air, Maryland. The first TV is a 32" LCD that was installed on the wall in the Master Bedroom. As you can see all the cables are hidden in the wall however they are not brought down like in a traditional installation. Instead they are taken to the other side of the wall which is a closet. We installed a cable jack in the closet for the Verizon cable box. Both the Verizon cable box and a DVD player sit on a shelf in the closet. A NexGen remote control repeater is used so that the customer can change the channel on the cable box. The remote control repeater changes the the remote control from IR (infrared) to an RF (radio frequency) so it can work through the wall. This is a very nice setup allowing the customer to maximize floor space in the bedroom by not having a separate piece of furniture for the cable box and DVD player to sit on.
Below we have the 50" Sony LCD TV install above the gas fireplace. This fireplace is slightly bumped into the room which allows the cable to come out on the right side of the fireplace where the components are located. The TV was installed with our tilting mount with a lifetime warranty and 2 15 foot HDMI cables also with a lifetime warranty. One HDMI cable is installed to the Verizon HD cable box and the other cable is waiting for a future component such as a Blu-Ray player. It's always a good idea to install all the cables that you plan on having that way you save yourself the cost of a return visit.
A pair of Bose speakers were also run and sit on the mantle below the TV. These may possibly be moved in the future if the correct mount is purchased from Bose.
